We purchased an 1800’s Colonial style house which we planned to refresh and re-launch as a bed and breakfast in Herkimer, New York.  Living out of state, I knew this would be no easy task for me to accomplish.  It would take a talented and patient person to coordinate and manage the design process in my absence, especially having never met me.  

I accompanied Tina on her initial walk through of the house via video conference.  It was a relief to know she shared my enthusiasm for the project and had the vision to implement my long wishlist of design changes.  My primary objective was to undo the previous owner’s Victorian touches and return the interior to a classic Colonial style.  

Tina delivered on every front.  While her design work speaks for itself, she also handled purchasing and receiving, and managed the financial aspect of the purchases she made.  She was mindful of spending and sought ways to reduce costs. She was always available via phone and e-mail, and did a great job keeping me updated on her progress.  Not only did she complete the redesign on time, but even after completion, she contributed many hours of her personal time to ensure our interior photography was a success.

When I was finally able to meet Tina in person, I joked about how it felt like I had known her my whole life.  That’s a true testament to her personality.  

Our family and friends who walked through the house before and after Tina’s work all expressed the same awe at the spectacular job she did.  As we prepare to open our doors for business, we know Tina’s designs will positively impact all our guests- from a restful night’s sleep on thoughtfully chosen bed linens to memorable wedding photos taken against the back drop of our grand interior.

I had a general idea of what I wanted, but when it came time to purchase things and pull my ideas together I was hitting a wall.  I reached out to Tina and she guided me through the entire process!  Together we picked out everything I needed.  Though I hired her for an e-design package, because of our close proximity she was more than happy to go shopping with me, meeting me at several of our local stores. She went above and beyond checking in periodically to see how I was doing and always made time to talk if I needed some direction. I am  beyond happy with my house and can't wait to have people over.       

We had a room above our garage that we were thinking about turning into a studio apartment, but we weren't sure where to start. We met with two other designers, then we called Tina and scheduled an appointment for her to come and take a look at it. After a few minutes upstairs, she started making suggestions and it wasn't long after we knew she was the designer we were going to hire.  The apartment turned out gorgeous and we've turned it into an air bnb.  In a nut shell, her ideas were very unique and her demeanor was a pleasure to work with.
